Designing and being creative is what I love most. I’ve always enjoyed the arts – as a child it was drawing, painting, and print-making, and after leaving school I fostered this creativity while completing a Bachelor of Design. My passion for surface and textile design was realised in 2014 when I began working as a Graphic Designer for Sue Daley Designs.
Occasionally I get out my sewing machine but most of the time you can find me behind my computer designing new prints, experimenting with colour and creating texture. My style is constantly changing and evolving, but I usually gravitate towards florals and bold geometrics.
I’ve recently moved to Melbourne to study textile design, and am loving every minute! My background in Graphic design means I always gravitate towards my computer, but now I am being hands on – screen printing, knitting, and exploring new mediums. I can’t wait to see how this experience affects my style and what direction it takes me in.
